FULL TIME PODIATRY POSITION IN THE NT

We are a caring and dedicated team of health professionals seeking a 3rd full time podiatrist. The podiatry clinic is home to 2 podiatrists, 3 receptionists, 4 massage therapists, a chiropractor, a denture prosthesis and several visiting doctors.
In this position, you will be exposed to new experiences inside and outside the clinic.

We see the full gamut including; the early walker, the elderly, foreign military and intelligence personnel, elite athletes, post-surgical rehabilitations, high risk diabetes patients on renal dialysis, workers compensation and of course, the outback jackaroo too! There is an abundance of sport; Golf, Tennis, Netball, Mountain bike riding, Soccer, Motor Sport, Cricket, Football – you name it. It’s a good place to see active feet!
We offer new treatment techniques & technologies
We welcome change and get excited about new technologies and techniques to improve our service delivery. We have treadmill and pressure plate analysis, electro-corporeal shock wave therapy, 3D digital scanning technology, cryotherapy and nail bracing treatments. At present we also have a Lunula Laser Therapy Machine to resolve fungal nails. We offer a large range of footwear, pre-fab orthoses, braces, splints and compression garments.
The location is unlike any other. There are plenty of waterholes to swim, hiking trails to trek, mountain bike trails to ride, and outback places to camp. The summer is hot, the winter is cold but everything in between is perfect.

Professional development Incentives:
This is a WIN. The Northern Territory Primary Health Network (NTPHN) offers the following to support the professional growth of Podiatrists & other health professional in the NT.
- Professional development grants of up to $3,000. This covers any workshops, conferences, seminars etc. that you may like to attend in Australia. It can be used to help cover the cost of course fees and course-related expenses such as accommodation and transport. Not limited to one grant.
- Scholarship: a reimbursement of up to $10,000 per year (maximum of two years) for the cost of completing a postgraduate course leading to postgraduate qualification
- Bursary: a reimbursement of up to $10,000 per year for the cost of completing a short course or training. This assists with obtaining Endorsement for Scheduled Medicines.

We’re searching for someone with a passion in biomechanics and physical therapies such as running/walking gait analysis, orthotic therapy and foot mobilisation. Cycling assessments will be our new frontier so if you love cycling or have an interest in cycling you would be a catch! We would love to hear from all levels of Podiatrist; New Graduate to Experienced Practitioner.
